After more than a year off, I've decided to take up my blog and walk! It hasn't died yet folks. I have been a very poor record keeper for my family, but I really want to have some good memories recorded.

God has been so good to us - life is hectic, sometimes overwhelming, but what a joy to be considered worthy of it. Sometimes I do feel like throwing in the towel. But I know this is His purpose for me in this time of my life and I will do it with a thankful heart.

Our dear sweet Nutmeg is gone. We had to put her down last night. She was fine right up until the end, and deteriorated very quickly. It was hard to make the decision to end it for her, but I know it was the right thing. She shouldn't have to suffer. The vet was very kind to me, and Sharon went with me for support. Nutmeg was a very timid shy dog, but so full of love for me. She caught many tears for me as a teenager. I will always miss her.
